Rescue!

My brother was riding bicycle early in the morning when he saw a bird in the road that didn't seem well. When he rode back the bird was still there. He looked at it and saw that it was a Common Quail that did not look good, so he brought it home.

There was something wrong with the Quail's eye, he kept it closed. We thought that it might be blind, it was also not very active and did not bother to get away from us or fly.

We kept it in a box with seed and water, for almost five days! We did not want to release it until we saw that he was more active. After some time he flew out of the box on two occasions, and it's eye was open and looked well, so we decided to let it go.

When we released it we went back a while after, and saw that it was not there anymore, which meant it was well!
