Marievale Bird Sanctuary trip

We went to the Marievale Bird Sanctuary near Nigel. It is a wetland with a few hides close to the water. It is not very big, but we saw interesting birds like, the Hottentot Teal, Purple Heron, Squacco Heron, African Purple Swamphen and African Rail.

One of it's hides is very close to the water and more closed by reeds and water plants which offers a great photography opportunities.
