Birding Big Day 2016
On this year's Birding Big Day we saw 75 different bird species, which was a lot more than what we saw last year. We saw most of the common birds of this area and some extraordinary ones like the Blue Crane. We also saw Lesser Flamingo's, Whiskered Tern, South African Shelduck, Blue Korhaan, Little Stint, Marsh Sandpiper, Ruffs and Reeves, Common Quail and Fan-tailed Cisticola.
Some of them were far away and hard to identify, but we managed in the end to identify all of the birds.
