Kranspoort Vacation
On our vacation at Kranspoort near Loskopdam, we saw all kinds of interesting birds. We saw Bronze Mannikins, White-crested Helmet-Shrike, Mocking Cliff Chat, Kurrichane Thrush, Groundscraper Thrush, Black-headed Oriole, Bearded Woodpecker, Cardinal woodpecker, Amethyst Sunbird, White-bellied Sunbird and a Grey-headed Bush-Shrike. The birds listed above is only the birds we don't see often where we live, and excites us. We also saw all the usual birds like Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill, Black-eyed Bulbul and Cape White-eyes. During our the three days at Kranspoort we saw a great variety of birds and enjoyed it a lot.
